Pagnotta is currently looking for a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving / Tool Repair Technician to join our team. This worker is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records and inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing tool and equipment. This role combines warehouse operations with hands-on technical repair work to ensure tools are safe, functional, and ready for use or distribution.

Wage:

$20 - $26 per hour depending on experience - 44 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling
Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks (as required)
Maintain shipping/receiving logs and documentation
Coordinate with carries and internal departments regarding deliveries and pickups
Make deliveries to site or pick up tools on site (as required)

Inventory Control:

Organize and maintain warehouse stock and tool inventory
Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits
Track tool usage, repairs, and availability
Ensure proper storage and handling of tools and materials

Inventory Control:

Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, or defects
Diagnose mechanical and minor electrical issues
Perform routine maintenance and repairs (e.g., replace parts, lubrication, calibration)
Test repaired tools to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance
Maintain repair logs and service records

Safety & Compliance:

Follow workplace health and safety guidelines
Ensure tools meet operational and safety standards before use or shipment
Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Prior experience working with inventory control systems is preferred
Prior knowledge of warehouse paperwork and experience counting inventory and orders is preferred
Computer knowledge using Excel
Experience operating certain power equipment is preferred
Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse
